700 kVA in emergency for uninterrupted teaching at Liceo Europeo in Madrid

The Liceo Europeo de Madrid is a private school of national and international prestige.

More than 1,200 students between the ages of 2 and 18 attend the school. Its extensive facilities and unique equipment required the installation of emergency equipment to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

The needs of the client

This leading educational centre required the installation of a generator set to ensure the continuity of its installations, with silence as the focus.

Components of the highest quality and reliability as well as a rapid response to mains failures, were the essential requirements of this project. These requirements were supplemented by the following:

  • Emergency power rated at 700 kVA.
  • Event monitoring and comprehensive display of engine information.
  • Guaranteeing more than 8 hours’ autonomy (operating at 100% charge).
  • Minimisation of the equipment’s noise levels, resulting in the quietest possible installation.
