The entry into effect of Directive 2016/1628 on emission of gases and particles – better known as EU Stage V or EURO V – has been a turning point in the development of generator sets for the machinery rental sector. Protection of the environment and the health of employees in contact with these devices are the main benefits obtained, although not the only benefits.
The need to comply with these requirements and the growing sensitivity in the market to have increasingly sustainable solutions have been the main pillars on which Dagartech has developed its new Rental Plus EU Stage V range.

Main innovations
“User-friendly” generators so you always have control
Generator units that endure everything. This is the main driver on which a full range of products has been designed and developed, with Perkins, Yanmar, Deutz and Volvo engines, depending on the power of the device. Robustness, durability and ease of transport are hallmarks consolidated in previous Rental ranges of the brand.
However, the incorporation of different technologies to neutralise exhaust gases increases the level of complexity of these machines in their use. This requires greater product awareness for rental companies and users and has also been a new challenge, and also a new opportunity for Dagartech: being able to offer a user-friendly and intuitive product with which the rental company knows what is happening at all times, what must be done and how long they have to carry out the regeneration work that this type of engine requires. Ultimately, it is about avoiding surprises, giving the rental company autonomy and tools so that there are no moments of uncertainty.
More accessibility than ever
Ease in the use of a machine goes beyond its interface or operation. It must also consider the whole cycle of maintenance work that takes on special importance in this type of generator. Therefore, the now traditional radiator access doors or individual access to the control panel are added to another that allows full access to the urea tank[1].

Prioritising silence
Rental companies, especially those dedicated to the events sector, require generator units that offer the minimum noise levels possible. Dagartech Rental EU Stage V generators include high attenuation exhaust silencers and their bodywork is equipped with rock wool with exterior textile covering. Super-soundproofing options are also offered to achieve even lower sound levels.
High levels of autonomy
Guaranteeing a service level of up to 8 hours at 100% charge in all models, there are some that reach 24 hours. Additionally, all generators are equipped with a cleaning register and external filling point with key. Additionally, the option of input from external tanks is offered, if required.
Notable features
Spark extinguishing, glow pugs, base frames, PMG, reading and alarms kit, and even Viscofan in some models. The devices of this new range include the highest level of features that it has been possible to offer to date. Depending on the power range of the model, additional features are added and the customisation options of the machine are even further expanded.
In addition to the aforementioned characteristics, all Rental EU Stage V generators include monitoring and remote control systems, promoting the planning of preventive maintenance and communication with the generator. Models of under 100kVA of power are equipped with a DSE 7320 MKII switchboard module, which in superior models is replaced with the DSE 7420 MK II.

Multiple customisation options
One of the main hallmarks of Dagartech is its capacity for offering fully customised solutions based on the circumstances of use or needs of the client. Therefore, in this new range, numerous options are offered with which to fully adapt the generator set. Among the most popular are authorised trailers, galvanised rollers, various options for synchronisation between devices and the 50/60Hz multifrequency option, which also maintains its EU Stage V certification at 1800 rpm.
